Documented and checkable
Le Grand Meaulnes was first issued in volume by the Parisian house Émile-Paul Frères in 1913, at 100 rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, after running as a serial in the Nouvelle revue française from July to October of that year. The first edition is digitised by Gallica. The house later carried a named shop sign and, by 1929, a publisher's device. All of it is traceable to public records.
